The Voicify Experience Platform
The Voicify Voice Experience PlatformTM provides brands and organizations with the ability to create engaging voice applications (“apps”) in one location that automatically deploys to Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Microsoft Cortana, and other devices. The platform is designed to offer brands and organizations the ability to deploy feature-rich voice apps quickly while offering the flexibility of unlimited customization.
The Voicify Platform provides brands with pre-built features such as Events, FAQs, Daily Updates, Reminders, Checklists, Surveys and Latest News. The Platform also offers the flexibility for brands to create their own custom voice applications without the need for any technical knowledge or the need for expensive voice developer resources.
Once brands have built and deployed a voice app on the Voicify Platform, brand authors can administer voice content within the Voicify Voice Content Management SystemTM. The Voice Content Management SystemTM offers an intuitive interface that allows non-technical personnel to create, modify, and remove content for a voice application. This allows brands to keep their voice experience fresh and their customer experience more dynamic and engaging.
Behind the scenes, the Voicify Voice Experience PlatformTM is cloud-based, eliminating the need for brands and organizations to invest in additional infrastructure. The cloud-based offering also results in regular updates and enhancements that are automatically available to brands and organizations that are customers of Voicify.
About the Voice Space
The voice assistant space is an emerging technical area that is growing at an extremely rapid pace. There are currently 27 million voice assistant devices in the home market that covers about 18% of homes in the US. It is projected to grow to 75% of homes in the US by the year 2020. Amazon and Google own the vast majority of the market with approximately 75% covered by Amazon and 20% covered by Google. Each provide a public market for brands and developers to create custom voice applications that leverage their respective infrastructure and natural language processing capabilities.
At present, there are over 20,000 custom “skills” and “actions” (Amazon and Google custom apps respectively) in the marketplace. Most demonstrate very basic capabilities of Amazon and Google’s functional offering resulting in low engaging and seldom used apps. This is akin to the first mobile apps in the market within Apple’s App store.
The Voicify platform takes advantage of the wide availability of devices in homes already and helps brands get to market rapidly. The platform is cloud-based and offers pre-built features that can be customized using a proprietary API. Voice experience content for each custom app is managed through a Voice Content Management SystemTM that is part of the platform. This aspect helps marketers to keep content fresh and the custom apps more engaging.
